tuesday

here im showing some of the work i have been looking into and finishing from yesterday, i cut out one of my prints very carefully, (shown monday) and started to discuss working collaboratively with lynsey, we discusse the general look of the creature and its facial features, the creature we have chosen to start out with is shown here. it is formed from a human pelvis, this idea came to me when i heard about archaeologists misinterpreting bones. we also talked about what lynsey would do with the image ie, large scale drawings and paintings

monday afternoon

during the day i enlarged some of my images on the photocopier, then took these across into print using cellulose thinners. using this technique i created scale for my gorilion, by putting my photocopies together and adding a human next to it, i also developed one of my creature, and resolved the problem of its bottom half. also i created prints of some other creatures, which im planning to cut out tomorrow.

monday

today i have redone my cv, i had a few issues with the way it looked and the font sizes but ive now resolved these, and put it in a different, more pleasing format. i have also gathered all of the places to which im planning to send my finished cv, either by post or by email.

Yesterday, i tested software on my laptop called 'Windows Movie Maker' and i created a short stop-motion film of a moving skeleton. It was one of my created creatures (Gorillion), and i also ordered Adobe Creative4 software, with animation, which i can use to make more higher-quality and smoother films.
